Tales From My Childhood: Learning to sew

February 1, 2012

I don’t exaggerate when I say I have been sewing since I can remember.

How old am  I here, five?

I think that pink fabric is a dolls dress I was attempting to “improve”. I look so serious threading that needle! Do they even make working toy sewing machines anymore? That machine really worked, but the bobbin jammed up all the time 🙂  Between that, my Easy-Bake Oven and the Playskool kitchen I was domestic diva in the making! Look at all the good things I’ve done with fabric and threads since…

Thanks Mom for giving me to tools to be creative and self express at such a young age.
